Irini (Rena)

Kana

The Greek artist studied at the Athens School of Fine Art, graduating in 1991. During her studies, her tutors in painting were P.Tetsi and in stage design (scenography), V. Vasiliades. Her works, mainly featuring the countryside, exist within the borders of expressionism. Their ability to convey intention, a colour palette sensitive to the harmonies of medium tones and the density of the materials give her pieces a highly charged, abstract and ethereal quality.
