The Loukia & Michael Zampelas Art Museum invites Unicef Charity Market to exhibit a variety of products, at low prices, towards the financial aid of Unicef Cyprus.
Unicef Cyprus, one of the co-organizers of the exhibition Zuzana Chalupová: Painter of the Child’s Soul, has also created postcards depicting works by the artist as a gesture of appreciation for her contribution.
In 1974 Zuzana Chalupová created a painting for UNICEF headquarters entitled The Children of the UN. That same year her work Zima (Winter) was chosen to feature as a Christmas card for UNICEF. The two million card prints established her as one of the most eminent representatives of naïve art worldwide. She donated many of her works in support of various humanitarian organizations, amongst who UNICEF, UNESCO and the Red Cross.
