Applicable to every temporary exhibition that takes place at the Museum, children will have the chance to meet Cypriot and International artists. Diverse styles and techniques will be given special attention, as children accompanied by the Museum Educator will have the opportunity to create colours from scratch and observe artistic tools to better understand the step-by-step creative process. Starting with the basics such as the identification of the details indicated on the label of the painting –artist’s name, year of creation, art medium– the children will cultivate criticism as to the content and the artistic outcome in each artist’s work.
The aim of the workshop is to enhance the importance of temporary exhibitions which each individually share an adventure with us.
This session is tailored to the new periodical solo exhibition, speculum mundi by Cypriot artist Kyriaki Phili.
